Then, select the data you want to add to your document, and copy it. Google Docs will then ask if you'd like to link the table to the original spreadsheet, or paste the plain data from the spreadsheet. The former is typically the better option, as it will let you re-calculate and re-sort data inside Google Sheets and have those changes show up in your Google Docs document in a click.
Either way, you'll get the final values from your spreadsheets, along with much of their formatting. Your pasted values are now a standard Google Docs table.
