Thanks for understanding Robk Feb 23 I really like Xee. As it stands, it's a dissappointment. When the application starts it does not open a typical application window. It puts the icon in the dock and once you click on the icon the menu bar is parked at the top and one has to physically click on it, select file and open a file or directory.
I would have expected a more intitive layout with directories on the left and picture content on the right more like finder. You cannot browse through directories, select multiple directories or really do much with the interface that cannot already be done with scarcely more work than one can do with finder already. After all, that is why people buy apps like this — to get what Windows does already out-of-the-box. The developer, MacPaw Labs , has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
